Christine A. Timmons, age 55 of Mount Laurel, NJ passed away peacefully on April 11, 2025. Christine was born on September 29, 1969 to Patricia (nee McCleary) and Dick Timmons in Black River Falls, Wisconsin. She grew up in Libertyville, IL then moved to New Jersey with her father and stepmother Susan Timmons where she graduated from Rutgers University with a bachelor's degree in English.
Christine was employed by Glaxo Smith Kline as an Investor Relations Assistant. In her free time, she loved traveling the world. When she traveled, she collected artwork, pottery, black and white photography, clocks, and cows. And, she always returned with gifts for her family.
Christine's true devotion, however, was animals, especially cats. Christine fostered, adopted, and cared for many cats. The needier the cat, the more love and support she provided. She shared her love of cats with her dear friends Claudia Rodgers, Beth Ralston, and Regina Husband, who became extended family over the years.
Christine is survived by her parents, Dick and Susan Timmons, and Patricia Sefton; her sister and brother-in-law, Catherine and Tommy; her brother and sister-in-law, Scott and Lynette; two nieces, Susie and Katie and nephew, Mack; along with many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to Christine's visitation on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, from 1PM - 2PM at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel, NJ 08054. Memorial Service to follow at 2PM. Christine volunteered at Voorhees Animal Orphanage. In lieu of flowers please send donations to Voorhees Animal Hospital at 419 Cooper Road, Voorhees, NJ 08043, or online at vaonj.org.
