Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home - CalhounChristine Causby Wallace, 89, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on Monday, August 18, 2025. She was born on November 1, 1935, to the late Stanley and Etta Campbell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband and the father of her children, Billy Causby; husband, Everett Wallace; grandson, Adam Knowles; brothers, CL Campbell, JM Campbell, Fred (Helen) Campbell, Frank (Glenese) Campbell; sisters, Odessa (Frank) Cochran Nelson and Emily (Mack) Thompson.
After Christine’s long and successful career in insurance she worked for Tri-State Communications and after retirement, delivered flowers for Van Dyke Wholesale Florist. Christine was a well-known baker, her specialty being wedding and birthday cakes.
She was a member of Meadowdale Baptist Church, where she was a founding member and organizer of their Wednesday night meal ministry.
Christine is survived by her daughters, Rhonda (Doug) Massengill and Cindy (Keith) Knowles; grandchildren, Steven (Carmen) Massengill, Angel (David) Knowles Kirkland, Aslan (Josh) Dooley, Anson (Shannon) Knowles, Hope Knowles Whitlock; great-grandchildren, Brodie and Brynn Massengill, John Knowles, Sylin, Avian, Avaida, and Lillian Knowles, Braxton Burton, Aceson, Asher, and Lyla Knowles, Kaylee and Harrison King, Kierstan Barnett, Kealynn and Kristine Dooley.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Meadowdale Baptist Church.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at 1:00 PM from Meadowdale Baptist Church. Her body will lie in state from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM at the church. Burial will follow in Chandler Cemetery. Pallbearers are Anson Knowles, John Knowles, Avian Knowles, David Kirkland, Josh Dooley, and Steven Massengill. Honorary pallbearers are the Meadowdale Baptist Church Kitchen Crew and the deacons of the church.
The Brannon family and staff are honored to serve the family of Christine Causby Wallace.
