Christine Williams Obituary

Published by Legacy on Dec. 4, 2021.
Christine K. Williams was received into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on November 30, 2021 She was the daughter of Harry James and Beverley J. Williams.

Born December 21, 1968 she was the sunshine and rainbows of her entire family and brightened the lives of anyone who knew her. She had a very special bond with her dad and went most everywhere with him.

Christine graduated from Oakridge High School and proudly cheered on her beloved Eagle Nation especially during football season. Her other passion was as the Muskegon Fury's "#1 Fury Fan". She enjoyed making friends with the players and made sure to remember them on their birthdays along with her special friends Toni & Crystal Stickle and was a special Grandmother to Roman. If you met Christine, you became one of her friends for life and would receive a "Happy Early Birthday" because she always tried to be the very first to make your day special. She liked the Dallas Cowboys, U of M football and the Detroit Tigers.

Christine was a member of Wolf Lake United Methodist Church and was quite active in children's ministries and especially loved Vacation Bible School and children just responded to her loving nature. She also served as an usher, liturgist, sang on the praise team and often sang solos. She loved Jesus with all of her heart and her church family also.

After losing her mother Kathleen to cancer in 2004, Christine gave dad her blessing in 2008 to marry Bev on condition that if they were to ever have a child, it would have to be a girl. That's because as soon as they started dating she just knew that she would have three more brothers bringing her a total of 8 brothers who all loved her with all of their might.

In 2012, Christine and her parents went into full time ministry as a team and she became a blessing to the congregations of Mesick, Harrietta & Epworth (Brethren) United Methodist Churches. They currently serve the churches of Climax & Scotts United Methodist Churches where Christine is a member of the choir, the handbell choir and the UMW. Christine would worship God with hands lifted high, her face filled with the radiance of the Holy Spirit. She was truly beloved of God and shared that belovedness with anyone.

Other hobbies that she enjoyed were bowling and watching wrestling, her favorite wrestler was John Cena.

Chris loved to get together with her family and share amusing stories, especially to her many nieces and nephews.
