Christofer Niedermeyer Obituary
Born on August 10, 1934, in Whitley County, Indiana, he was the son of the late John F. and Grace (Londt) Niedermeyer. Growing up in Union Twp., he was involved in a farm accident as a young boy shortening his formal education. He completed his schooling at Coesse School.
Working as a farmer, he raised livestock and grew crops eventually becoming a grain farmer only. In more recent years, he cash rented his farmland for growing crops.
Surviving is a sister, Linda L. Kinsey of North Webster; a niece, Ronda Morgan of Syracuse; a great niece and nephew; and life-long friends, Clara Leininger, Matt (Amy) Leininger, Mackenzie & Morgan Leininger, Garna (Chad) Bradley, David (Katie) Ernst, James (Nikki) Ernst, Denny Bear, and Walt Dittmer.
He was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Larry Kinsey and good friend Jack Leininger.
Visitation is 10 a.m. until the funeral service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City. Burial is at the Oak Grove Cemetery.
