Christopher Adkins Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Forest Lawn Funeral Home - Houston on Jul. 2, 2024.
Chris was born on March 31, 1981, to Marilyn and William, in Beaumont, Texas. He was the oldest of three boys. Growing up he loved his church group, taking mission trips and going to camp. Chris remained close to his youth pastor Macil through all these years, his influence in Chris's life helped mold him into the man he would become. Chris loved gaming and sports. He was an avid sports player and watcher. His favorite teams were the Green Bay Packers and the Houston Astros. He could talk sports all day long and never run out of things to say, one of his favorite past-times was arguing baseball stats with his dad. He met his wife, Jessica, in April of 2018 and they were married in May of 2019. They got their first dog together, Odin, in December of 2021. They loved going to Astros games, brunch, and being with their friends and family. His favorite bible verse is Phillippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me". He was as stubborn as the day is long, but always accomplished what he set out to do. If he had it in his mind to do, there was no changing his mind. He loved his family and his friends more than anything else. Chris passed away on June 27th surrounded by his family. He will be greatly missed and forever cherished.
Christopher is survived by his wife Jessica Adkins and dog Odin, his mother Marilyn Glaser and husband Dan, by his father William Adkins, his brother Cole Adkins and wife Ashley and nieces Zoe, Sierra, and Lilli; his brother Chad Adkins and wife Celina, niece Hayden and nephews Camden and Corbin, his grandmother Patsy Herring and countless of other relatives and many friends.
He is preceded in Death by:
