Christopher Keith Adler was born July 28, 1955 and died at age 68 on December 6, 2023. He was an adventurous soul who enthusiastically enjoyed exploring nature and caring for those he loved.
Chis was raised in New Jersey and later joined his brother Ken in Colorado where he felt at home for more than forty years. Chris loved being in nature whether it was camping, hiking, fishing, white-water rafting, kayaking or river current body-surfing he self-coined “grocking”. He found solace on the open road as both a professional driver as well as road-trip and motorcycle enthusiast who covered more than two million miles throughout his life.
Chris is survived by his loving wife, June Marie Adler. By his three loving sons Jake Robert Adler, Rustin Michael Adler, Hudson James Adler and his soon to be daughter-in-law Virginia Ann Ware-Adler. By his three stepsons Joshua Lee Smith, Paul Aaron Smith, and Dylan Matthew Smith. By his siblings, Kenneth Robert Adler and Judith Lee Beausoleil. By his nieces and nephews Christopher Cullen Adler, September Ann McKelvy, Patrick Michael Givens, Maureen Claire DeRose, Danielle Lambariello and Lisa Jean Guerrera. By his many loving cousins, extended family, friends and relationships. He was preceded in death by his parents Irving Robert Adler and Ruth Claire Sweigart Adler Lane Allen, sister Janice Claire Givens and nephew John Richards Givens Jr.
Please join us in celebrating the many years he enjoyed, the energy he shared with others and the legacy of family values which he lived by. His funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 6th at 2pm at Horan & McConaty Funeral Service - 7577 W 80th Ave, Arvada, CO 80003.
