Celebrating the Life of a Kind and Gentle Soul

Christopher Neal Aiken, born on October 18, 1981, in Tampa, Florida, passed away peacefully on February 3, 2026. He was the beloved son of Harold and Faye Aiken and cherished older brother to Keith A. Aiken.

Chris spent his early years in Tampa before moving to Katy, Texas, where he attended high school and began to shape the values and interests that would define his life. Determined and ambitious, Chris pursued higher education at The University of South Florida and Florida Atlantic University, earning a degree in business. His academic achievements were a source of pride for both him and his family.

In 2005, Chris was diagnosed with Lupus, a complex autoimmune disease. Despite the challenges that came with this diagnosis, he faced his condition with remarkable strength and resilience. With the dedicated support of his care team at the Cleveland Clinic, Chris managed to live life to its fullest for more than twenty years. He continued to work, travel, and spend time at the gym, refusing to let his illness define him or limit his passions.

In late January 2026, Chris experienced a health event that proved too much for his body to overcome. Through it all, he remained a beacon of kindness and gentleness to everyone around him. Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing Chris will remember his warm spirit, compassionate heart, and unwavering positive outlook.

Chris will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. Private services to remember his life will be held at TM Ralph Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to pay tribute to Chris are encouraged to donate to the Lupus Foundation of America or the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. These organizations made a significant difference in Chris's life and continue to support others battling Lupus.

Chris’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to share in his journey.
