Born January 23, 1975, in Providence, Rhode Island, he was the son of the late Joseph Almeida and Joanne (Monti) Almeida. Raised in Tiverton, Rhode Island he graduated from Tiverton High School in 1993 and attended Bridgewater State University.
Chris dedicated his professional career to helping others. At the time of his illness, he held the position of Assistant Administrator at Care One in New Bedford.
He enjoyed trail riding on his mountain bike, Indian motorcycles, spending time with his family and friends, cooking and was an avid New England Patriots fan.
He is survived by his wife, Ada M. (Dube) Almeida; his daughter's, Avery Marie Almeida and Cadence Julia Almeida; his stepson, Patrick Joseph Sheridan; his siblings, Kristen Arruda and her husband Nelson, Michael Almeida and his wife Dorothy, and Brian Almeida and his wife Sarah.
Following cremation, a Memorial Gathering will be held in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 17 Main St., (Rt105) Lakeville on Saturday, September 27th 11:00AM-2:00PM followed by a funeral service in the funeral home at 2:00PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Chris's memory may be made to the Heart Brothers Foundation, 276 West Main St., #5, Northborough, MA 01532.

I am so sorry for your loss. Chris was a wonderful person. He not only was a coworker, but became a friend. He always made people feel good just with his kind words.
I was lucky enough to know him for upwards to 20+ years,while working with him at our other place of business.
It was a pleasure to know that he was working for Care One- when I became part of their team.
You will be missed chris RIP

So very sorry for your loss. Even though I never met him, I know how much my son Jeff and my daughter-in-law Kim love him and Ada. He fought such a tough fight, my heart breaks for all of his family and love ones.
