Christopher James Badstein, beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away on July 8, 2025, at the age of 37. Born on November 1, 1987, at Nyack Hospital to his mother, Geraldine Loftus, Christopher brought warmth and laughter into the lives of all who knew him. Known for his genuine kindness, quick wit, and unwavering love for his family and friends, Christopher lived his life with heart and humor. He was a proud member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 14, where he built a respected career marked by dedication and hard work.
A passionate sports enthusiast, Christopher especially loved baseball and football. Whether cheering on his favorite teams or sharing game-day excitement with others, sports were a source of joy and connection for him. He also took great pride in his commitment to the gym, embracing fitness as part of his daily life.
Christopher is survived by his loving mother, Geraldine Loftus, and his devoted brothers, Larry and Brendan. He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence C. Badstein.
