Christopher Scott Bodde

Christopher Scott Bodde age 61 of Vienna, Virginia, passed away peacefully in his sleep early on the morning of April 12, 2025. Chris is predeceased by his mother Ingrid, father William, and sister Barbara (Lochte). Chris is survived by his wife Monica, daughter Helen, brother Peter, and nieces and nephews. Chris was born in 1963 a world away in Vienna, Austria, while his parents were assigned there by the State Department. Chris grew up in Austria, Sweden, Germany, and Maryland. Chris graduated from Tulane University at the age of 19 before joining the CIA. Chris had a long and storied career around the world before retiring in 2017.
