Christopher Huston Booher

Christopher Huston Booher, age 62, passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2026. He was a strong, hardworking man who devoted his life to caring for and providing for those he loved.

Christopher found joy in the outdoors and loved hiking, camping, and working on both outdoor and indoor gardening projects. He also had a lighthearted side and was known for making corny jokes that brought smiles and laughter to those around him.

Above all, Christopher loved his family fervently. He cherished time spent with his wife, children, and grandchildren and took great pride in being present, supportive, and engaged in their lives. As a devoted husband and family man, he built a life rooted in love, loyalty, and quiet strength.

Following 20 years of service and having served during Operation Desert Storm, Christopher retired and received his honorable discharge from the United States Air Force.

Christopher is survived by his wife, Denise Booher; his children, Trever Booher (Anna), Donavin Booher, Jemiah Booher, Cody Wallace (Kate), Matt Wallace (Sandra), Tabitha Malone (Curtis), Virginia Migliorino (Vin), and Summer Randall (Austin); and nine grandchildren, whom he loved very much.

A celebration of Christopher's life will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Payne's Chapel on Earlys Mountain Road in Leicester, North Carolina with Rev. Brandon Turner officiating. Military honors will be provided by the United States Air Force.

Christopher's legacy lives on in the lives he touched, the home he nurtured, and the love he gave so freely. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered
