Christopher Ali Brown

Christopher Ali Brown, 47, of Clarendon, Texas, passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2025, in Amarillo, Texas.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at the First Baptist Church in Clarendon. Burial will follow at Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon.
Viewing will take place Friday, November 14, 2025, at Robertson Funeral Directors, with the family receiving friends for visitation from 4:00–6:00 p.m. Arrangements are under the care of Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon.
Chris was born November 7, 1977, in Memphis, Texas, to Gary Wayne and JoAnn Smith Brown. He married the love of his life, Amanda C. Weatherton, on September 26, 1998, in Clarendon, Texas.
A proud graduate of Clarendon High School, Chris lived in Amarillo for several years before moving to Clarendon during his junior year of high school. He worked as a route delivery driver for Gandy's in Amarillo for many years, where his dedication and friendly spirit made him well-loved by colleagues and customers alike.
Chris had a zest for life and was known for his warm, easygoing nature. He enjoyed dancing, singing, fishing, grilling, and was famous for making the best ribs around. A devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys and San Antonio Spurs, he was often the life of the party - a gentle giant with a joyful heart and a contagious smile. More than anything, he cherished time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren, who were his pride and joy.
He was preceded in death by his mother, JoAnn Brown, and his brother, Gary Brown.
Those left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Amanda Brown of Clarendon; his father, Gary Brown of Wellington; his daughters, Damara Brown and husband Kersey Kelley of Arlington, Makayla Brown of Clarendon, and Shania Brown and husband Malik Randall of Mesquite; his brothers, Torrence Smith and Prince Brown; his sister, Cynthia Shrubs of Wellington; his grandchildren, Zayleigh Brown, Zephora Brown, and one on the way; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and brothers and sisters-in-law.
Chris will be remembered for his kindness, his laughter, and his boundless love for his family and friends.
