Christopher Lamar Butler was born on December 10, 1977, in Mobile, Alabama, to Chrissie and Evanda Butler. Christopher was the baby out of three children. He passed at home on Wednesday, January 7, 2026. Christopher was 48 years old.
Christopher attended Pickett Elementary, Jones Jr. High, and Libbey High School. Christopher was baptized at an early age. Christopher was a loving person to those he was surrounded by, his wife and kids, especially the grandchildren.
He was employed as a tradesman & construction worker for years until an unfortunate motorcycle accident. That left him unable to work. Despite the accident, he still loved his motorcycles. Christopher also loved being outside in nature; he loved animals and beep-bop sounds since he was a little boy. Christopher loved exotic food, such as alligator jerky and eel. He tried to get everyone else to eat it too.
Christopher was preceded in death by father, Evanda Butler; Grandparents, Earl Dean and JC Pendleton, Rosa Strawbridge; Uncles, Daryl and Rayford Pendleton; Cousins, Jerez, Quarwon Pendleton, and Cassandra Pendleton.
He is survived by his Wife, Jessica Butler; his Children, Olivia Butler, Marenity Butler, Ariel Kramer, and Rachelle Lay; and Stepchildren, Madison, Caleb, Michael, Camyia, and Carson. Mother and Stepfather, Chrissie and Hughes Curry; Sister Latesha (Myrone) Tucker; Brother Elbriko (Regina) Butler, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will receive friends and relatives at the Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home, 3453 Heatherdowns Blvd at Byrne Rd, Sunday, January 18, 2026, after 1:00 p.m,. where services will be held at 3:00 p.m.
