Christopher Byrd Obituary
Benson, NC: Mr. Christopher Dale Byrd, age 62 of Raleigh Road passed away on October 15, 2023 at his residence. Memorial Services will be 2:00PM Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at the Rose & Graham Funeral Home Chapel in Four Oaks. Rev. Wesley Taylor will officiate.
Mr. Byrd was born on July 8, 1961 in Johnston County to Jean Wallace Byrd of Benson and the late, Fred Thomas Byrd. He retired from hanging sheet rock. Mr. Byrd enjoyed playing his guitar and was an avid outdoorsman.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his children, Christie Mitchell and husband, Jeffery of Four Oaks, Jennifer Capps and husband, Adam of Four Oaks, Brandon Byrd of Benson; grandchildren, Katie Mitchell, Kami Capps, Mary Scott Mitchell, Cadi Rae Byrd; brother, Mike Byrd and wife, Kim of Benson; aunt, Linda Johnson and husband, Ronnie of Benson; uncle, Craig Byrd and wife, Sherry of Benson; nephews, Dusty Byrd and Jordan Byrd.
The family will receive friends immediately following the memorial service and other times at the home of Christie and Jeffery Mitchell, 310 Juniper Church Road, Four Oaks, NC 27524.
