Christopher Lee Carden, 27 years, of Mebane, NC died Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at his home surrounded by family. He was born in Durham County on August 17, 1996 to Brenda Marie Parker and Ricky Wayne Carden.
Chris was a dedicated, blue collar worker, who enjoyed construction, electrical, carpentry, and lawn-work. He loved his children and family fiercely with his whole heart. Despite the hardships he endeavored, his mischievous sense of humor was one of a kind. He loved his Paw, Howard Lee Hodge, endlessly, and his legacy lived on through the spirits of Christopher. One of the fondest moments his mother
had with him was through his love for exotic animals, especially snakes. He expressed his emotions through music.
Chris is survived by his mother, Brenda Parker of Durham, and his brothers, Luke Aaron Parrott of Hillsborough and Alston Lee Parrott of Hillsborough. Chris is also survived by his two sons, Gunner Lee Carden (age 8), and Brayden Lee Carden (age 4). His daughter, Peyton Lee Carden, is due in September. He is also survived by his niece, Sofia Marie Agnello (age 4).
Chris was preceded in death by his brother, Jason Carden, his Paw, Howard Lee Hodge, and his Granny, Wilma Hodge.
A private family celebration of Chris's life is being planned in the coming months.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Dubey's Pet World, either online or via 815 S Main Street, Graham, North Carolina 27253.
The family is proudly being served by Piedmont Cremation & Funeral Service, 211 N Main Street, Graham, North Carolina 27253.
