Christopher Cook Obituary
SPC Christopher James Cook, 22, of North Little Rock, Arkansas passed away October 14, 2023. He was born September 19, 2001 in Trenton, New Jersey to Keith James Cook and Beth Cook.
Chris is preceded in death by his grandparents, James Junior Cook and Virginia Jaculin Cook; uncles, Shane Whipple and Timothy James Cook.
He is survived by his parents; sister, Desiree Cook; grandparents, Richard Whipple and Sharon Benamati; aunts and uncles, Shirley Waterhouse (Mike), Rebecca Smith (Rich), Ricky Whipple (Cheryl), Charlotte Weaver (Mike); along with host of family and friends.
Chris joined the Army National Guard during his Junior year of high school. This was a dream for many years as he wished to follow in his grandfathers’ footsteps. He worked as a mechanic for Carl “Cy” Gaines Combined Support Maintenance Shop on Camp Robinson. Chris was a gamer at heart and enjoyed playing Destiny with friends.
A visitation will be held from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home (1921 Main Street) with a funeral service following at 2:00 PM.
