In Loving Memory of Marylan Janiece McDorman February 3, 1944 – January 30, 2026
Marylan Janiece McDorman, 81, of North Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away on January 30, 2026. Born in Little Rock, Arkansas, Janiece lived a rich and fulfilling life dedicated to her family and community.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William “Bill” McDorman; her daughter, Dana Powell; her parents, Jeff and Maurine Quattlebaum; and her sisters, Mary Louise Ruple and Patricia Ann Quattlebaum.
Janiece is survived by her son, Keith McDorman of Proctor, Oklahoma; her grandson, Anthony McDorman of North Little Rock, Arkansas; and her granddaughter, Sara Elizabeth Crews of Russellville, Arkansas. She is also survived by her nieces, Gwen Hurley Beason and Mary Ann Carrington; her nephew, Jeff Ruple; and numerous other extended family members.
A devoted member of Sylvan Hills Church of Christ for over seventy years, Janiece exemplified faith and service within her community. Her professional life included working as an agent in several State Farm agencies, where she was known for her dedication to her clients.
Janiece was particularly recognized for her exceptional sewing skills, crafting personalized gifts that showcased her love and thoughtfulness for family and friends. Her quick wit and delightful sense of humor left a lasting impression, and she will be remembered for her generous spirit and unwavering love for those around her.
