Christopher S. Copeland

Christopher Steven Copeland, known affectionately as Chris, was born on January 6, 1971, in San Gabriel, California. He passed away on October 1, 2024, in La Center, Washington, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of creativity and passion.
Chris was a man of many interests, with a deep love for woodworking, collecting rocks, coins, antiques, and comics. His artistic spirit shone brightly in all his endeavors. A true foodie, Chris had a particular fondness for Mexican cuisine, often sharing meals with loved ones. He enjoyed music immensely, with favorites including Tom Petty, Fleetwood Mac, Don Henley, The Eagles, and The Black Keys, reflecting his eclectic taste.
He found great joy in fishing at Cedar Creek, which he considered his favorite place in the world. In his downtime, Chris loved to immerse himself in suspenseful and scary movies, always looking for a good thrill. His beloved cat, Luna, was a constant companion, bringing him comfort and joy.
Chris is survived by his devoted girlfriend, Jodie Harrison, and his loving family, including his mother, Roxanne West; father, Steven Copeland; sisters, Daniale Thornton, Jana Copeland, and Stacie Copeland; and brother, Ian Robbins. He was known for his good sense of humor and the warmth he brought to all who knew him.
Chris's memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, who will remember him for his artistic talents, his passions, and the joy he brought into their lives.
