Christopher Peter D'Arco, 65, of Brookfield, Connecticut passed away at his home on Monday, July 21, 2025.

Born on February 12, 1960 in the Bronx, New York, he was the son of the late John J. D'Arco and Domenica (Stumpo) D'Arco. He grew up in Yonkers, New York, graduating from Lincoln High School and then Iona College (University) in New Rochelle, New York, Class of 1984.

Chris built a successful professional career in corporate procurement and sourcing. For 30 years, he held roles at various companies, including Union Carbide, Dow Chemical, UOP, FuelCell Energy, and GE Capital. He was a talented businessman and skilled handyman, and was always willing to help family and friends with home and financial advice.

In recent years, he was semi-retired and worked part-time at Bridgewater Chocolate. He enjoyed grilling, tending to his garden and lawn, walking on the Still River Greenway, and helping his daughters with various house projects. He was an avid blood donor for many years and frequently donated blood to the American Red Cross. He also was a devoted New York Rangers fan and never missed watching a game.

He was the happiest spending time with his family, and remained close with the mother of his children, Michele Morin, of New Milford, Connecticut. He will be eternally missed by his family, and especially his granddaughter, Evena, whom he loved dearly.

He is survived by his daughter Renee D'Arco of Newtown, Connecticut; his daughter Christina D'Arco, son-in-law Alexander Puccio and granddaughter Evena Puccio of Northvale, New Jersey; his sister Roseann Simorelli of Raleigh, North Carolina; his brothers Lawrence D'Arco of Albany, New York, and John D'Arco and wife Lenore D'Arco of Pleasantville, New York; as well as his many cousins, nieces and nephews, including three godchildren.

Family and friends are welcome to a visitation held at the Brookfield Funeral Home, 786 Federal Rd, Brookfield, CT from 9:30 to 11:30 AM followed by a Christian funeral mass at Saint Joseph Church, 1 Obtuse Hill Rd, Brookfield, CT at 12:00 PM on Monday, August 18, 2025.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Chris's memory may be made to the American Red Cross.
