Robert Marden Obituary
Jan. 24, 1953 - Jan. 26, 2026
Robert J. Marden, 73, of Brookfield, CT, passed away on January 26, 2026. Born on January 24, 1953, in Danbury, he was the son of the late Bernard and Marjorie Marden. Robert was a skilled plumber, who took great pride in his work.
He is survived by his daughter, Megan Marden (Vincent Kmetz); his longtime friend and companion, Barbara Battista; his sister, Penelope Marden; and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Gary and Thomas Marden.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 6, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Brookfield Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Brookfield. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.

Uncle Bob as we called him was a kind and sensitive man. He had a gift for playing the piano and banjo.

Please accept our sincere condolences at the passing of Robert. When we did a major renovation several years ago, Robert did all the plumbing. He was conscientious and professional. I didn´t connect the names when I was at NVCC.
