It is with deep sadness we share the passing of Robert Dudley Marden Jr. of Brandon, Florida on September 27, 2025, at the age of 83 (Born on April 25, 1942, in Nashua New Hampshire).
Robert was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose kindness, sense of humor, and strength touched everyone who knew him. He shared 60 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, June Marden creating a lifetime of cherished memories together.
He was the proud father of four children: the late Angela LoCicero (survived by spouse Tony) of Wimauma, Florida, Corey Marden (Tammy) of Loveland, Colorado, Kimberly Fabel (Joe) of Thonotosassa, Florida, and Jeffrey Marden of Brandon, Florida. Robert was also blessed with six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him immense joy and pride.
A proud U.S. Army veteran, Robert Dudley Marden Jr honorably served his country and carried the values of dedication and integrity throughout his life. Throughout his life he worked as a Movie Theater Manager, Insurance Claims Adjuster and later in life a Security Guard. Outside of work he coached little league baseball and ice hockey. He was a 3rd Degree Black Belt, a Tae Kwon Do instructor and was a huge Boston Red Sox fan.
A committal service with military honors will be held at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida, on Friday, November 7, at 11:00 a.m. Family and friends are invited to a memorial gathering to celebrate Robert's life on Saturday, November 8, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the home of his daughter, Kimberly Fabel.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Robert's memory to American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association.
Robert will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his love and unwavering devotion to family.
