The visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Sunday, August 31, 2025, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
Chris was a beloved brother, son, and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Chris was a graduate of West Ouachita High School and was currently pursuing an Electrical Engineering Degree at Louisiana Tech in Ruston. Chris enjoyed tinkering, building, and repairing electronics and computers, very involved with his games and the community and friends who gamed with him. Chris also loved searching and digging through antique and junk stores to find those hidden treasures that held meaning or intrigue. Chris was always finding new ways to prank someone or share a funny joke in order to share a laugh. He lived with authenticity and warmth. He listened deeply, laughed loudly, and gave generously. His friendships were real and lasting, built on trust, humor, and a genuine love for life.
Those left to honor and cherish his memory are his mother, Christine Davey; father, Sherm Elliott; brother, Daniel James Elliott; sister, Brianna Caitlin Neal; paternal grandparents, Dr. Clyde and Shirley Elliott; maternal grandmother, Janet Davey; uncle and aunt, Alex and Tonia Davey; special cousins, Abbey Davey Didier and Erin Davey Bedel; as well as extended families and a host of friends and loved ones.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Daniel James Elliott, Chris Henry, Andrew McClain, Alexia Worley, Hunter Jones, and James Standard.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s’s Children’s Research Hospital.
