Christopher James Davis

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Christopher James Jesse Davis, who departed this life on August 25, 2025 at the age of 47. Chris was born on September 13, 1977 in Covington, Ky.

Chris was a beloved father, grandfather, fiancé, son, brother, and friend whose presence brought light and laughter to everyone around him.

Chris was the proud father of Christopher Davis (Cameran), and a devoted grandfather to Saylor, who brought him endless joy and pride. He is survived by his loving fiancée, Noell Saunders, and her children, Preston and Shelby, whom he embraced as family with open arms and a generous heart.

Born to Debbie Davis, Chris is also survived by his dad Daryl Davis (Cathy), dear sisters, Keisha Madden (Tyler), Nichole Leukering, Melisa Petty (Mike), and was a cherished uncle to Karlee, McKenzie and Easton. His love for family was fierce, steadfast, and unconditional.

Chris is proceeded in death by his mother (Debbie Davis).

Chris was a man of many passions. He found peace in nature, wonder in travel, and joy in the simple beauty of life. He had a deep appreciation for airplanes and the skies they soared, was fascinated by the craftsmanship of modeled ships, and admired his large collection of bourbon.

Those who knew Chris will remember his adventurous spirit, his warm sense of humor, and his deep loyalty to those he loved. He had the rare ability to make anyone feel at home with his easy charm and kind heart.

Though his time with us was far too short, the impact of his life and the love he shared will live on in all who had the honor of knowing him.

A celebration of Chris's life will be held on Friday, August 29th 2025 at Allison & Rose Funeral home in Taylor Mill, Ky. From 5pm to 7pm with services following immediately after. Friends and family are invited to gather in remembrance, share stories, and honor a truly unforgettable soul.

Rest easy, Chris. You are deeply missed and forever loved.
