Christopher David Dillman, affectionately known as Chris, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his own home on September 26, 2025, in Virginia Beach, Virginia, at the age of 56. Born on May 28, 1969, in Wisconsin, Chris lived a life marked by dedication, service, and deep love for his family.

Chris proudly served his country for 20 years in the United States Navy, where he exemplified commitment and honor. After retiring from the Navy, he traded in his uniform for a contractor's badge, spending the next 18 years as a senior program manager with Ausgar Technologies. His work was a testament to his hard-working nature, yet he remained ever humble, always prioritizing his family above all else.

He cherished every moment spent with his family, and his love for them was unparalleled. An avid Green Bay Packers fan, Chris never missed an opportunity to cheer on his team. He also enjoyed the laid-back vibes of Margaritaville and had a fondness for his Harley-Davidson motorcycles, which he rode as often as possible.

Chris was a master mason of the Kempsville Masonic Lodge #196 and the Khedive Shriners in Chesapeake where he was part of the Khedive Swashbucklers. He also was a devout parishioner of Courthouse Community Church and held his faith close. These communities were enriched by his presence and camaraderie.

Now happily reunited with his son, Stephen, who passed in 2012, Chris is survived by his loving wife, Michelle Dillman, who was the center of his universe. He leaves behind a legacy in his daughter and son-in-law, April and Adam, and son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Jazmine. He was a proud grandfather to seven grandchildren: James, Evelynn, Scarlett, Brooklynn, Michael, Katie, and Brayden. His siblings Beth, Scott, Becca, and Brian, along with their children, and his parents, Ed and Judy, will forever cherish his memory. Not to mention the countless close friends who were lucky enough to know him.

A service celebrating Chris's life will be held at the Khedive Shrine Center at 645 Woodlake Drive, Chesapeake, Virginia, 23320 on Friday, October 17, 2025 at 3:30pm. In honor of Chris's vibrant spirit, attendees are encouraged to wear their Green Bay Packers gear, Harley Davidson attire, or Hawaiian shirts.
