Christopher Gorman Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Curnow Funeral Home & Cremation Service - Sumner from May 29 to Jun. 11, 2024.
Christopher Albert Gorman, age 47, of Graham, WA, passed away at home on May 7th, 2024.
Born on July 31, 1976, at Fort Lewis, Washington, Christopher was the beloved son of Mark and Nancy Gorman. He spent his early years in Junction City, Kansas, attending Chapman Grade School and graduating from Chapman High School. Christopher pursued his passion for mechanics at Salina Vocational College, where he earned a degree in auto body repair.
Christopher began his career at Bayer Construction, where he worked for several years before venturing into his own trucking business in Idaho. It was during this time that he met his fiancée, Brenda, and together they built a life in Washington.
Christopher was a man of many passions. He found joy in fishing, hunting, skiing, and riding anything that went fast. His adventurous spirit was matched only by his kind heart. Known for
his generosity, Christopher was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He was a wonderful father, a loving son, and a cherished friend to many.
Christopher's greatest joy in life was his children. He adored his son, Gabriel, and his stepdaughter, Violetta. He was a devoted and loving father, always putting their needs and happiness above all else. Christopher's pride in his children was evident to all who knew him. He worked tirelessly to provide for them and to ensure they had a bright future.
He is survived by his fiancée, Brenda Duarte; his beloved son, Gabriel, and his stepdaughter, Violetta. He is also survived by his parents, Mark and Nancy Gorman of Junction City, KS; his brother, Jeremy, and his wife, Carmen Gorman of Chapman, KS; his nephew, Paris Gorman of Enterprise, KS, and his niece, Savana Gorman of Chapman, KS.
A Celebration of Life will be held on July 5th, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church, located at 1401 Valley Ave. East, Sumner, Washington.
Memorial contributions can be made to a GoFundMe page to support Brenda and the children during this difficult time. The link is https://gofund.me/942b17f4.
