Christopher James Greene

Christopher James Greene, 28, of Harrisville, Ohio, passed away on September 28, 2025, at Cincinnati Children's Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.

He was born April 6, 1997 in Scranton, Pennsylvania, son of Mark and Anne (Zitterich) Greene.

From a young age, Christopher found joy in the outdoors, whether fishing, hunting, or hiking. He embraced each pursuit with a fearless spirit, always eager for adventure and the unknown. His time in nature wasn't just about the thrill, it was where he felt most alive and deeply connected to the world around him. Beyond the outdoors, Christopher enjoyed video games, where his playful and adventurous nature carried through in the camaraderie and creativity they inspired.

Christopher was a cherished member of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church in Barton, Ohio. His faith and community were central to his life, providing him with strength, guidance, and a profound sense of belonging.

He is survived by his parents, Mark and Anne Greene; siblings, Elena (Vibhatshu) Karki, Hannah Greene, Michael (Jade Donbeck) Greene, David Greene; a nephew; and a host of cousins.

Though his time with us was far too short, Christopher's spirit and zest for life left an indelible mark on all who knew him. He will be remembered for his gentle heart, adventurous spirit, and unwavering kindness.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church at 10:00am. Burial to follow at the St. Nicholas Orthodox Cemetery.
