Christopher Mark Heath

Christopher Mark "Chris" Heath, of Melrose, died unexpectedly on Aug. 31, 2008 at the age of 24. Chris was born & raised in Melrose and a graduate of Northeast Regional Vocational School, Class of 2002. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, amusement parks, camping, pickup basketball games with his family & friends and was an avid Red Sox & Patriots fan. Chris played Babe Ruth Baseball in Melrose and loved to spend time during the summer with his family at Arlington Pond in Salem, NH. He had a kind heart and loved his family & close friends. Chris was the loving son of Mark A. Heath and Gale A. Heath & her companion George Brogna, all of Melrose. Caring brother of Daniel R. Heath of Melrose. Cherished nephew of Donna Maus & her husband Smokey of VT, Valerie Costello & her husband Buddy, Vic Heath & his wife Joanne, Tom Heath & his wife Sandy and Lisa Lavagna & her husband Jim, all of Saugus, Linda Bianchi & her husband Joe of Mendon, Christine DeFazio & her husband Frank, and Rick Merrick, all of Melrose. Also survived by many many cousins. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Monday Sept. 8th at 8:45AM. Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church Herbert St., Melrose at 10AM. Relatives & friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours on Sunday from 2-6PM. Burial in Wyoming Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Chris's name to the American Cancer Society 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701-4688.
