Christopher was born on May 5, 1959, in Rochester, NY, the son of Norma Rissew and the late Richard Hopkins. He was the beloved brother of David Hopkins (Billy Kautz) and Scott Hopkins (Darlene Hopkins), and former husband of Tracie Hopkins. Christopher was a devoted father to his daughters, Stephanie Bellucco (Nicholas Bellucco) and Michelle Scott (Dylan Scott), and a proud grandfather to his cherished granddaughters: Brooke, Charlotte, Allison, and Camille.
Christopher was a man whose presence filled every room with laughter, warmth, and joy. Known for his kindness, generosity, and infectious sense of humor, he had a special way of making everyone feel seen, valued, and loved. Caring for others came naturally to him-whether through lending a helping hand, offering a kind word, or sharing his gift of cooking with family and friends. He brought joy to everyone he met and left a lasting impact through his selfless spirit and unwavering love.
Though our hearts are broken, we take comfort in knowing that his spirit lives on in the love he shared and the countless lives he touched.
A celebration of Christopher's life will be held on Wednesday (October 22nd) from 4-7 PM at Vay-Schleich and Meeson, 1075 Long Pond Road.
