Christopher Allen Hopper, age 35, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at his home in Batesville, MS.
A memorial service to celebrate his life will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, January 13, 2025, in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home. The family will be gathering prior to the service beginning at 1:00 P.M.
Chris was born February 5, 1989, in Batesville, MS to the late William Larry Hopper, Jr. and Kimberly Jarrell Cannon. He was a welder by trade and in his spare time, Chris enjoyed fishing and working on cars.
Chris leaves behind his daughter, Macy Nicole Hopper of Batesville, MS; mother, Kimberly Cannon of Grenada, MS; sister, Victoria Hopper of Oxford, MS; two brothers, Corey Hopper of Water Valley, MS, Nathan Hopper of Coldwater, MS; maternal grandmother, Diana Miller of Batesville, MS; paternal grandparents, Larry and Tracy Hopper of Batesville, MS and Brenda McCaleb of Gatlinburg, TN; step-mother, Dawn Hopper of Coldwater, MS.
