Christopher Jeffers

Jeffers – Christopher, 37, of Clifton, passed away on Saturday June 17, 2017. Born in Paterson, Christopher resided in Clifton for all of his life where he was a 1999 graduate of Clifton High School. He was employed as a Security Officer with Passaic County Technical Institute in Wayne. Christopher was an avid fan of the New York Yankees and the New York Giants. He enjoyed playing pool and was a member of a local billiards league. Most of all he enjoyed being around family and friends and cherished family gatherings. He was predeceased by his mother, Janice Whitty. Survivors include: his son, Christopher Guy Jeffers; his father, Robert Jeffers; his brother, Robert Jeffers, III; his sister, Sandie Gillespie; his uncle and aunt, Joseph and Marilyn Jeffers; his cousin Laurie Jeffers; uncles and aunts, Rich and Chic Hammond, Michael and Angela Hamas and Bob and Maureen Hamas; and several other cousins and friends. Visiting hours will be held Thursday from 4 to 9 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Funeral services will be held Friday 9:15 am from the Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Ave., Clifton and 10:00 am at St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church, 797 Valley Road, Clifton. Interment to follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Upper Montclair.
