It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Christopher Thomas “Tom” Jessie, who died Monday, December 8, 2025.
Born September 17, 1960, Tom was the youngest son of the late George Harrison Jessie and the late Willette Faye Jessie.
Tom dedicated his professional life to the trade of surveying. Outside of work, he found solace and joy in the mountains of East Tennessee and the surrounding area. He enjoyed camping, particularly at the lake near Buzzards Cave.
He leaves behind three brothers; George Henry (Carol) Jessie, Michael Jessie, Robin (Lorrie) Jessie; and one sister, Elizabeth (Jon) Jessie. He is also survived by his nephew, Charles (Michelle) Jessie and niece, Amanda Tyler; and a few lifelong friends.
Private Cremation Services were cared for at Arnett & Steele Cremation Center.
In order to honor his wishes, a memorial service will be held at Welch Cemetery, in Speedwell, Tennessee, at a later date.
The Arnett & Steele Valley Chapel in Harrogate, Tennessee is honored to serve the family and friends of Christopher “Tom” Jessie.
