Christopher Mark Kercher, "Chris," age 70 of West Carrollton, passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at Kettering Health Main Campus. He was born November 23, 1954 in Dayton, Ohio, the son of the late Albert "Ed/Eddie" and Anastasia Kercher.
Chris graduated from Fairmont East High School Class of 1973. He'll be remembered as being an avid golfer and sports fanatic. Although he never got to see his beloved Cleveland Browns win a Super Bowl, he did get to see The Ohio State Buckeyes win multiple championships. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Kercher; son, Jordan Levi Kercher; and sister-in-law, Jolene Kercher.
Chris is survived by his daughter, Robin Kercher (Sterling Silver); life partner and fiance, Renee Bolender; brother, Dr. Gary Kercher, PhD; uncle, Willy and aunt, Barb; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2025 from 12 pm to 1 pm at Newcomer Centerville Chapel (820 Miamisburg-Centerville Rd., Dayton, OH 45459). Funeral service will begin at 1 pm. Burial will follow in Miami Valley Memory Gardens (1639 E. Lytle Five-Points Rd., Centerville, OH 45458).
