Christopher J. Lammi

Christopher "Chris" James Lammi, age 42, passed away peacefully with close family and friends by his side on Friday, January 31, 2025, after a long battle with pneumonia. Chris was born on September 8, 1982, at Medford Hospital in Medford, WI. He was raised by his grandparents, Terry and Lillian Lammi, of Brantwood, WI, who preceded him in death. He spent a lot of his last four months with his Aunt Kim and her family, Todd, Gavin, and Lorin Gregory, and friends, Al Kemp, Bobbie Visocky, and sister, Desiree Wiita.
Chris truly lived through simple pleasures, chatting with friends, putting Lego projects together, collecting movies, and having several hundred Matchbox cars. His favorite holiday was Christmas and French toast was his breakfast of choice while he listened to WJJQ. Chris worked several jobs over the years including Pick 'n Save, Burger King, Fazoli's, The Store Gas Station, Tomahawk Speedway, Dollar Tree, and Home Depot.
He leaves behind a legacy of kindness and a deep love of his family and friends. Chris was a beacon of kindness with a gentle soul that touched all who knew him. Although his time on earth was shorter than he would have liked, he had a life full of enlightened experiences which resulted in some important life lessons learned. Those lesson were simple...be kind, be honest, and be helpful. His friendliness, kindness, quick wit, and love of animals is a tribute to his heart and soul.
Chris is survived by his aunts, Kim (Todd) Gregory, of Greenville, WI, and Terrie (Shawn) Murphy, of Barneveld, WI; his half-sisters, Desiree (Dustin) Wiita, of Alexandria, MN, Brooke Neirson, Crystal Neirson, and Kailey Neirson, all of Kenosha, WI; and his cousins, Gavin Gregory, Lorin Gregory, Michael Esterholm, Tommy Lammi, and Samantha Murphy. We all love you, Chris, and you will never be forgotten.
Chris joins his grandparents, Terry and Lillian Lammi; his aunts, Paula Braden and Lisa Kestler; and his cousin, Megan Maki, in Heaven.
The family wishes to thank Crossroads Care Center of Weyauwega, WI, and St. Croix Hospice for all of their help and support.
Family and friends and others whose lives Chris touched are invited to Generations Funeral Home in Tomahawk on Saturday, March 22, 2025, for visitation from 11:00 AM until the time of services which will begin at 12:30 PM. A luncheon will take place
immediately following services at Floyd's Timber Tavern in Tomahawk at 438 S. Tomahawk Ave.
Generations Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family.
