Christopher D. Leming, 38, went home to be with the Lord on July 11, 2024, in the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. He was born December 13, 1985 in Columbus to Larry Leming and Debbie Rosa Williams. He was a volunteer fireman mascot at the Clarksburg Fire Department. Chris sang in a band and was a friend to everyone he was met. Chris never complained and was a very hard worker. He loves his Sissy, our fur baby.
He is survived by his mother, Debbie (Jerry) Williams, of Clarksburg, his father, Larry (Lynn) Leming, of Orient, paternal grandfather, Albie C. Leming, of Columbus, his brothers and sisters, Luke Leming, of Columbus, Michelle (Jason) Wheeler, of Flint, Michigan, Steven (Bobbie) Pilkington, of Lancaster, Julie (Allen) Williams, of Pleasant Valley, Joe (Amy) Williams, of Frankfort, Cathy Jordan, of Chillicothe, nieces and nephews, Shayla, Silas, Charles, Tyler, Celine, Mikey, Josey, Tyler, one aunt, Madonna (Craig) of Grove City, as well as several cousins and special friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Herbert (Geraldine) Bradford, paternal grandmother, Marsha Leming, and one brother, Brian Pilkington.
Christopher was a 2005 graduate of Adena High School and Pickaway-Ross Career and Technology Center. He worked at First Capital Enterprises in Chillicothe, helping in any way he could. He also worked as a counselor and being a mentor at the Hematology Camp that he attended growing up. Christopher loved working on cars with his friends, Kenny and John Smith, playing video games with his brother Luke, and fishing. He was the biggest The Ohio State University and Cincinnati Bengals football fan. He had a strong love for his Jesus.
In keeping with Christopher's wishes, cremation will take place. No services will be held. Memorial contributions are suggested to either, Nationwide Children’s Hospital, 700 Childrens Way, c/o Cancer Foundation, Columbus, OH 43205, or The Ohio State University Foundation, Fund 313545, PO Box 710811, Columbus, OH 43271.
