Christopher James Martin

Mr. Christopher James Martin, age 63, passed peacefully on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 surrounded by his family at his home in Farragut, Tn after complications from a recent cancer diagnosis.
Christopher was born in Washington D.C. November 2, 1960 before moving to Oneida, Tn with his family. After attending the University of Tennessee Knoxville, Christopher spent his adult life as a Knoxville, Tn resident. In his young adult years Christopher was a chef and worked in the Sunsphere of Knoxville along with various hotels. For the past eleven years, Christopher was the Business Development Manager for Navigator Group Purchasing.
Christopher was a loving father who supported his two daughters with all their dreams. He was an avid runner and participated in many Knoxville Track Club events. His love language was through serving his elaborate food to his friends and family and he was a member of the Knoxville Business Association. His friends and family will remember him by his sense of humor, one of a kind artichoke dip, his love for the trumpet and rock & roll, his post dinner sneeze fits, but most of all his willingness to help and care for others always.
He was preceded by his father Charles Wesley Martin and mother Jean Martin Lay.
He is survived by his two daughters Amanda Martin and Lauren Martin, 2 brothers Curt and Charles Martin, sister Carla Martin. Sister-in-Law Sharon Martin, 2 nieces India Cody and Alyssa Martin, 3 Nephews Jason, Wesley, and Kei Martin.
