Christopher Martinez Obituary
Chris was born in Greeley, Colorado to Anthony Ramos & Theresa Martinez on April 13, 1988. On July 10, 2020 in Del Norte, Colorado, Chris found Bonnie to his Clyde, and married the true love of his life, Claudette Archuleta.
Chris was the rock of his family. One of the few people in this world that would be there to defend anyone he cared for, support all whom he loved, no matter what the cost was. Chris' family was his only driving force in life. He was a loving son, and caring uncle, nephew and grandson. Chris was an ambitious & often mischievous man who was always willing to take risks. He was a smiling jokester who never stopped smiling & playing around with his friends & family. Chris always knew who in the family he could "get away with things", even when he "borrowed" his mother's pink Geo-Metro car.
Chris will be remembered as a gentle & warm man who could be hard as stone, when he needed to be. His love for street tacos would often drive him to stop at ANY taco truck he would see, any time, any place. Chris was a big Broncos fan & loved watching MMA. He also appreciated the art of music in all its forms. The stories that Chris would tell, the stories the family remembers, will leave a lasting legacy.
Chris is survived by his loving wife; mother & father, siblings, Alicia Martinez, Yvette Soto, Jesus Soto, Sierra Soto, Anthony DJ Ramos, and Annaha Ramos; his brother/uncle, Juan (Melissa) Ontiveros; cousin, Trinidad 'Bubba' Ramos, uncle Felix Barnhart and a large loving extended family.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Adrian Perales-Ramos; uncle, Eloy Barnhart; and uncle, David DJ Ortega.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Claudette Archuleta, in care of Lighthouse Family Mortuary- 2525 W. 16th St, Suit C, Greeley, CO 80543.
A Celebration of Life will be at 11:00am on Thursday, March 30th, 2023 at the Greeley Vineyard Church, at 1015 9th Ave #4013, Greeley, CO 80631.

Hey Chris,
You have been gone almost 6 months and I can't accept it at all it seems like yesterday that we were kids playing and laughing together where did the time go. But you did visit me in my dream last night you told me that you were proud of me and that always be there. Dang Chris I miss hearing you laugh I hope you give my grandma a big hug for me. You will always have a special place in my heart.

So sorry for your loss, been over 2 decades since I last seen him but as kids we definitely spent a lot of time around each other and went to school together.. I will always remember Chris for his outgoing energy and contagious smile. This news was so devastating to hear and I pray God watches over his family in this painful time.
