Christopher Murty McFedries (1978-2024)
Christopher Murty McFedries, aged 46, passed away on April 17th, 2024. He was born in Akron, Ohio. Christopher attended Archbishop Hoban High School, where he excelled in soccer and track and made lasting friendships and cherished memories. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving in Iraq and Qatar.
Christopher is survived by his parents, Ian and Linda (Murty) McFedries; fiancé, Monika Earles; his children Brianna, Joel, and Ian McFedries, along with his ex-wife Lisa McFedries; his sister, Nicole Moore, and her husband, Tom Moore, and their children, Kyle and Drew Moore. Christopher had many loved ones, and he leaves behind a network of love and support.
A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held on Monday, June 10, 2024 at 2:15 p.m. at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Rd. Seville, Ohio 44273. PLEASE MEET AT THE CEMETERY ENTRANCE AT 2 P.M.
A Celebration of Christopher's Life will be held Monday, June 10, 2024 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Firestone Metro Park Coventry Oaks Shelter. Adress: 40 Axline Ave. Akron, Ohio 44319. Family and friends will come together during this nonalcoholic event to honor his memory.
Chris's kindness, humor, and unwavering spirit will forever remain cherished in our hearts.
