Chris was born in Royal Oak, Michigan on September 23rd, 1986. He grew up in the mountains of Evergreen, Colorado with his Father, Mother, and Brother, loving the cold winter sports - rushing down the mountain on his snowboard.
Chris joined the Army April 30th, 2008. Serving his country with 2 tours in Afghanistan, he spent almost 10 years in the Army before retiring at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. He was lucky to do just what he wanted to do - be an incredible stay at home Dad! He taught Piper and Westin and Jasmin to play video games - his favorite - along with cooking, building Legos and being the biggest cheerleader for the kids sports in the community! Chris' Mom, Dad, and Brother moved to Oklahoma from Evergreen, Colorado at the end of 2022 to be close to the family and enjoy life together.
Chris was the life of the party everywhere he went. No one was a stranger. He was kind and thoughtful to everyone he met. He was known as a gentle giant - he would do anything for you - giving his shirt off his back or the last dollar in his pocket. He had a presence that will never be forgotten. His family knows he is watching over us all, sharing stories and enjoying a cold one! He has left a hole in the hearts of the ones he loved and the life he left behind.
Chris is survived by his wife Jasmin of 10 years, daughter Piper Bailey (8) and son Westin Michael (7). Chris also leaves behind his parents Mike & Johna Moors, his brother Alex Moors of Fletcher, Oklahoma, many aunts and uncles, cousins and all their many friends from this beautiful community.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday April 27th, 2023, at St Ann's Catholic Church in Elgin, Oklahoma at 11:00 am with burial following at Fort Sill National Cemetery at 1:00 pm.
Chris, everyone you left behind hates that you are gone but we are happy that you are home free and painless. We will always love and miss you until we meet again. God Bless You!
