Christopher Mudry, born on February 15, 1964, in Cleveland, Ohio, and a long-time resident of Winchester, California, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2025. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Sandy Mudry, his son Sam Mudry, his mother Theresa, and brothers John (Nancy) & Joseph (Shelly) Mudry. His father Joseph, brother Paul & sister Kathleen preceded him in death.
Chris joined the Navy after high school & served 4 years as an avionics electrician. He worked at Patuxent Naval Air Station in Maryland for 8 yrs before marrying Sandy in 1994. They both attended Bible school at NTBI (New Tribes Bible Institute, now Ethnos360) in Jackson, MI, in anticipation of becoming missionaries. After almost 2 years, God redirected them & they moved to Lawrenceburg, IN for 5 years & Chris worked as a residential electrician. In 2001, they moved to the Temecula area where Chris became a Journeyman Electrician with IBEW Local 440 in Riverside, CA. He enjoyed his job but his heart & dedication was seen in service to others. He volunteered at CMOH Food Pantry for 6 years & was actively involved at his church, Revival Christian Fellowship in Menifee, CA where he helped out with the parking ministry, mens fellowships (Band of Brothers) & multiple Bible studies. Though Chris lived with bipolar disorder which was a challenge that brought hardships & strains in his life, he found strength & insight from his NAMI support group.
Chris found joy in the simplicity of life. He was an lover of the outdoors, often found taking long walks to connect with nature & making new friends along his way. Chris was also an avid sports enthusiast, watching all divisions of professional sports while holding a special loyalty for Ohio States football team.
Chriss faith in Christ was the guiding force in his life. His gentle, kind, & compassionate natures were evident to all who knew him. His soul and spirit will forever be loved and celebrated in the hearts of his family and friends. Chriss favorite Bible verse was "I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing." John 15:5
