Sergeant Christopher Michael Piechocki, Jr., beloved son and brother, passed away on March 30, 2025.
Christopher was a lifelong resident in South Bend, Indiana and graduated from Riley High School in 2019. Christopher began his service with the United States Army in August 2019. During his service Christopher was awarded the Army Commendation Medal, the Army Good Conduct Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the NCO Professional Development Ribbon, the Army Service Ribbon, the Expert Infantryman Badge, the Air Assault Badge, the Combat and Special Skill Badge, the Basic Marksmanship Qual Badge, and the Driver and Mechanic Badge. He was stationed at Fort Campbell, Kentucky.
Christopher is survived by his father, Christopher Piechocki, Sr., his mother, Carrie Piechocki, brothers Derek McDowell and Nathan Piechocki, grandmother Carol Miller, grandfather John Piechocki (Nancy Piechocki), and grandmother Rebecca Dodd as well as many other loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Funeral Service will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 11, 2025 with full military honors at Palmer Funeral Homes – River Park Chapel, 2528 Mishawaka Avenue, South Bend, IN 46615. Visitation with the family will be from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.palmerfuneralhomes.com.
