Christopher Linn Poole, age 56, of Golconda, Illinois, passed away Sunday, December 19, 2021 at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, Illinois.
Christopher was born July 28, 1965 in Marion, Illinois, a son of Robert and Nancy (Wyatt) Poole. He married the love of his life, Zina G. (Davis) Poole on March 22, 1985 in White Ash, IL.
In Chris' earlier years, he loved to help his Grandpa Tex work his farm as well as helping other local farmers. He remained a country boy at heart ever-since.
Chris and his wife attended Honeycomb Church of God, where Chris served as an usher. He loved the Lord, his family, and his church with all his heart.
Chris has been a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local #318 for the past 15 years, where he was currently employed. Previously, Chris was a member of the Marion Carpenters Union for several years, working as a skilled carpenter.
Survivors include his wife- Zina Poole of Golconda, Illinois
Two sons- Justin and his cherished wife Charlee Poole of Golconda, Illinois
Jonathan Poole of Golconda, Illinois
Three beautiful grandchildren- Noah Linn, Elijah Wyatt, and Isaiah James Poole
Sister- Kimberly Spiller of Marion, Illinois
Uncle and Aunt- Bobby and Jan Wyatt of Marion, Illinois
Two Cousins- Tracy Berlatsky and husband Greg
Jana Schaede
Three Brothers-in-law- Tom Davis Jr. and wife Karen
Jim Davis and wife Valerie
John Davis and wife Jennifer
Sister-in-law- Cindy Grider and husband Keith
Many Nieces, Nephews, and Friends
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents- Tex and LeNorma Wyatt, William and Virgie Poole, brother- Robert Steve Poole, sister- Elizabeth Poole-Maynard, sister-in-law- Juanita Poole, uncle Billy Poole, half-sister- Tracey Poole, niece- Ashley Smith, father-in-law- Rev. Tom Davis, Sr., mother-in-law- Phyllis Davis, sister-in-law- Beverly Davis, and niece- Briana Harris.
Visitation will be Friday, December 24th, 2021 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Funeral Service will be held Friday, December 24, 2021, 12:00 PM at Blue Funeral Home with Pastor Harold Miller officiating. Burial will follow at White Ash Cemetery in White Ash.
