Christopher Lawrence Romas, 68, of Charlotte, NC, passed away on September 20, 2025. He was born on December 9, 1956, in Suffolk County, NY, to the late Louis and Doris Romas.
Chris was a devoted husband to his wife, Dolores, with whom he shared 42 wonderful years of marriage. He was a loving father to Chris (Lauren) Romas, Thomas (Tracy) Lessing, and Kenny (Beth) Lessing, and a proud grandfather to Addison, Michael, Ryan, William, Trevan, Bridget, and Christopher. He also cherished being a great-grandfather to Lach and Loren. His beloved dog, MJ, was always by his side.
Chris found joy in life's simple pleasures - playing basketball with his sons, swimming, and spending time at the beach. He will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and the unwavering love he held for his family. His presence was a source of strength and warmth, and his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
