Christopher Wayne Rostice

Christopher Wayne Rostice, 64, of Columbia passed away on Monday, June 30, 2025.
Chris was born on September 7, 1960, in Columbia to Mosley and Juanita (Kelly) Rostice. Born into a God-fearing home, Chris joined church at an early age and attended Russell Chapel Church regularly. Chris attended Columbia Public Schools and graduated from Rock Bridge High School in 1979. Upon graduation Chris made the decision to join the United States Army where he would serve his country for 6 years until receiving an honorable discharge.
Throughout the years Chris worked several different jobs. His first job he ever held was as a young man when he worked as a paperboy for the Columbia Tribune. Following his time spent in the Army, Chris went on to work as a Postman and in more recent years worked as a subcontractor in various construction jobs.
Chris is survived by his three sisters: Marie Glaze, Lottie Williams, and Brenda Carter; two brothers: James Kelly (Blondell) and Donald Rostice Sr. (Doris); one uncle E.J. Kelly; one aunt Joyce Kelly; his beloved nieces and nephews: Tammy Winkler, Deidre Farmer, DeChaundre Carter, Shayla Rostice, Cedric Kelly, Robert Graves, Eric Kelly, Stephen Peters, Derric Kelly, and Donald Rostice Jr.; along with several great nieces, great nephews, and a host of other family members.
A memorial service for Chris will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at Second Missionary Baptist Church, 407 E. Broadway, Columbia, MO 65201.
