Chris was a loving son, father, and husband. He lived a life filled with passion, adventure, and an unwavering love for his family and friends. Chris was the hardest working man anyone would ever meet. He spent his life working through being a concrete saw cutter, an estimator for Associated Concrete Cutting for 15 years, followed by almost 5 years with ACT. In his deepest desire to leave a legacy of all he knew, he spent the last three years of his life committed and dedicated to fulfilling his personal dream of owning his own saw cutting business, Legacy Cutting. If he wasn't working, he would be looking for adventure at the nearest lake, boating and wakeboarding, driving his favorite 1991 Fox Body Ford Mustang, or at the gym in his pursuit of personal fitness.
Chris will be remembered for his infectious smile, his classic giggle, his zest for life, and his love for the open road. He leaves behind a lasting impact on all who knew him, and his memory will be forever etched in our hearts.
Chris is survived by his wife, Alisa Yarter; father, Richard Rust and Kathryn Watson; and mother, Alice Thornton and husband Eddie. His legacy lives on through his beloved children, Jordan and Kylee Rust, whom he shared with Jackie Lovelady.
Chris was a devoted husband to Alisa, and a one in a million stepfather to Ethan, Prestan, Whittan, and Piersan Yarter. Together they stood as a beautiful family of 8 through life's great journeys.
A celebration of Chris' life will be held on Friday, September 6, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.at their home, 3004 Quartz Rd, Aubrey, TX 76227. It will be an informal come and go event. Please feel free to stop by during this time to reminisce and honor him.

This obituary caught my eye as a friend I went to high school with is also Christopher Rust who died in November of cancer in Massachusetts. I see your Chris was a typical loving, hardworking, thrill seeker (fun loving), handsome man. I just want to extend my deepest sympathy for your loss and thank God for your .wonderful memories of your Christopher.

I'm his cousin, lilly. When we were 8 and 6 we built a fort with couch cushions and sheets and watched animated movies. He was a sweet play buddy.
