Christopher M. Sheroka, 36, of Schenectady, NY, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, after a brief illness.
Chris’s greatest joy in life was his family especially his cherished children and his wife and best friend of ten years, with whom he shared endless laughter, happiness, and unwavering love. He found freedom and peace on the open road, riding his motorcycle, and treasured the time spent fishing and hunting with his father and siblings. These moments brought him deep comfort and joy throughout his life.
Known for his kind heart, generous spirit, and one of a kind personality, Chris was always the first to step forward when someone needed help. His willingness to give—his time, his support, his presence—left a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know him. He found beauty in life’s simple pleasures: time by the water, shared laughter, and creating memories that will now be held close as treasured gifts.
Chris was predeceased by his father, Joseph Sheroka. He is survived by his mother, Candy Sheroka; his devoted wife, Laura Sheroka; and his beloved children: Ayanna, Bella Rose, Rowan, Willow, Journey, Shiloh, Christopher Jr., Tyler, and Christiana. He is also survived by his siblings: Joseph (Shaneika) Sheroka, Buddy (Jessica) Sheroka, Cody (Raegan) Sheroka, Harley Sheroka, Sabrina Johnson, Sam (Gaby) Sheroka, Precious (Chris) Mortimore, and Autumn (Zach) Sheroka, along with many nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and dear friends who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the Albany Medical Center ICU for the compassion, love, and care shown to Chris during his time there.
Chris will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his devotion to his family, his gentle strength, and the selfless love he shared with the world
