Danbury - Christopher Sigetti, 44, formerly of Naugatuck, passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at his home. He was the husband of Kathleen (Whalen) Sigetti.
Christopher was born July 3, 1980, in Waterbury, the son of Lisa (Guimaraes) Sigetti and the late Daniel Sigetti. He was a Job Coach at Green Chimneys in Brewster, where he touched many lives. Prior to his work in Brewster NY, Christopher was a sound board operator at WLAD in Danbury, and was a world traveler working aboard Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. He loved to cook and was known for his sense of humor and intelligence.
Besides his wife of 6 years and his mother, Christopher is survived by his sister Kathryn Sobray (Ryan); his brother Daniel Sigetti (Monica); his Father-in-law Joseph Whalen; his Grandmother Virginia Marques Guimaraes; Brother-in-laws Joseph Whalen (Erika), Mike Whalen (Karen); his nieces and nephews Edith and Josephine Sobray, Sofia, Joey, Jack, Ryan, Gavin, and Owen Whalen; his aunts and uncles Paul Guimaraes (Kelley), Virginia DiGrazia, Christine Damato, Teresa Sigetti, Maryann Reilly (Burke), and Michael Segetti (Deborah), Patricia Whalen (Fletcher), Richard Clark (Laura). Christopher is survived by many extended family members.
Arrangements - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, July 25, 2024, at 12 noon at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Church St., Naugatuck, Friends are asked to meet directly at the church. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family in Peaks Island, Maine. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Naugatuck is assisting with arrangements and there are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to Green Chimneys, 400 Doansburg Rd, Brewster, NY 10509.
