Christopher L. "Christiq" Simmons Jr.

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our cherished Christopher Lamont Simmons, Jr. on November 12, 2025, at Penn State Hershey Medical Center. Christopher is fondly known as "Christiq" by all who knew and loved him.
Christopher was born to the late Teisha Branch and the late Christopher L. Simmons, Sr., in York, PA on December 10, 1990.
He will be deeply missed by his grandmother Shirley Talley; grandfather Marion Simmons; brothers Marcus Bowling, Caspen Simmons and Aquile Simmons; sisters Aniamonie Walker and Madison Ambrose; a niece Aun'Jyan Walker, aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of other family members and friends.
Christopher's love for life brought joy to everyone he met. He enjoyed doing hair, dancing, bird watching, traveling, pampering himself, cooking, and he loved spending time with family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Christopher was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother Shirley M. (Gaddist) Simmons, and several aunts and uncles.
A balloon release was held a few days after his passing and at a later date a Memorial Service will be held.
