Christopher J. Smith, a 58-year-old resident of Spring, Texas, passed away on October 9, 2024, following a courageous two-year battle with throat cancer. He passed away peacefully at his home, where he had resided for over a year.
Born on October 23, 1965, in Kansas City, Missouri, Christopher completed his high school education at Center Senior High School in Kansas City. Where he pursued higher education and obtained a degree in Business Management from a community college in Kansas City.
Christopher possessed extensive experience in the restaurant industry, which eventually led him to relocate to Houston, Texas. After several years in the restaurant sector, he discovered his true calling at North West Dodge, where he excelled as a successful salesman.
Throughout his life, Christopher had a profound impact on those fortunate enough to know him. He exuded an infectious spirit of love, laughter, and unwavering resilience. Among his passions were the Kansas City Chiefs, classic hot rods, music, and eating good Barbaque.
It is with great sadness that we acknowledge the passing of Christopher, who is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Patricia and George Smith. He is survived by his devoted family members: Timothy Smith and his wife Lisa, Gregory Smith and his wife Paula, and Donald Adams and his wife Amy, who selflessly served as not only Christopher's dedicated caregivers during the final two years of his life, but also his family and best friends in texas.Additionally, he leaves behind cherished nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, all of whom will deeply feel his absence.
