Christopher J. Solano

Christopher Joseph Solano, 51, of Derry, NH, died suddenly on August 22, 2024. Born in Winchester, MA on December 29, 1972, he was a son of Joseph and Margaret (McCarthy) Solano. He shared 15 years of marriage with his wife, Tracy (Urquhart) Solano.

Christopher was raised in Melrose, MA where he was very active in boy scouts when he was younger and he attended Melrose High School. He worked as a garage door installer for Aloha and most recently A1 Fleet. He loved riding motorcycles and going to Laconia for Bike Week. He was a big sports fan and loved attending Patriots games. He enjoyed playing poker and taking trips to casinos, especially to Las Vegas. Chris was also into cars and was skilled in doing auto body work, which he learned from his dad.

Chris is survived by his wife, Tracy Solano; his parents, Joseph and Margaret Solano; his brother, Michael Solano and his wife Laurie; his nieces Kaylee Gilbert and her husband Brandon and Brianna Akins and her husband Garrett; his nephew, Michael Solano; two great-nephews, Luka and Lincoln; one great-niece, Aubriella; and his two dogs, Lucky and Loki. Chris was predeceased by his brother, Nicholas Solano.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, September 7th from 10AM-11:30AM with a Memorial Service at 11:30AM at the Cremation Society of New Hampshire, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH. Burial to follow at Forest Hill Cemetery, Cemetery Road, Derry, NH.
