Christopher Spurgeon Obituary
Christopher was born January 5, 1989, to Scott and Angel Spurgeon in Kirksville, Missouri. He passed away July 16, 2023 in Fairfield, Iowa. Christopher grew up in Van Buren County and graduated from Van Buren County High School.
Christopher is survived by his mother, Angel Spurgeon (Kevin) and his father Scott Spurgeon, his three children Liz, Emma and Lily Taylor, his grandfather Leroy Carey, five siblings Bobbie (Tyler) Spurgeon, Cory (Savannah) Spurgeon, Anthony Curtis, Sonja Spurgeon, and John Spurgeon, four step siblings Cody Bishop, Zack Bishop, Breann Sherrod and Steven Helmick, six nieces and nephews, Landon, Phillip, Raiden, Odin, Amelia and Adalynn.
Christopher is preceded in death by his grandparents, David and Alice Caviness, Jay Edwards, Joyce Carey and Robert (Bob) House, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Christopher was a "HUGH" Kansas City Chiefs fan. His hobbies included spending time with his family and friends, fishing, Hot Rods and he loved gardening.
Christopher was loved dearly by many and will be dearly missed by many.
